Creative conscience
For the creative conscience competition I decided to make a series of tapestries using hand-stitching technqiues and layering of fabrics dedicated to lesbianism. Inspired primarily by the 80’s queer protests using banners, I wanted to create a bold statement emphasising how signalling is used and what the key emblems used are; highlighted centrally in my work.
